
Filippo Tommaso Marinetti
(1876 - 1944)
Novelist, poet, and dramatist ;Filippo Tommaso Marinetti was educated in Egypt, Italy, France, and Switzerland. The Futurist movement he founded was highly influential in literary and artistic circles; the latter included the painters Umberto Boccioni and Giacomo Balla. Marinetti welcomed the savagery of World War I and became a fervent supporter of Mussolini.
