Charles Barkley

Selected fifth overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1984 NBA draft, Charles Barkley quickly established himself as one of the elite rebounders in the game and one of the league’s best power forwards. He made the first of eleven consecutive All-Star game appearances in 1987, and was named the league’s Most Valuable Player in 1993 while playing for the Phoenix Suns. Barkley was named one of the fifty greatest players in NBA history in 1996, retired from basketball in 2000, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
