Lord Dunsany

(1878 - 1957)

The Irish fantasy writer Lord Dunsany was born fourteen years before Ireland’s first power station went into operation. By 1951, in his only science-fiction novel, The Last Revolution, he conceived of a world in which intelligent computers turn against their masters.
