Richard Powers

Interested in history, cybernetics, and neurology, Richard Powers received a MacArthur “genius grant” in 1989 and published five books, among them Prisoner’s Dilemma and The Gold Bug Variations, before the age of forty. His most recent novel, Orfeo, was published by W.W. Norton in 2014.
