Henry T. Finck
(1854 - 1926)
Henry T. Finck was a music critic for The Nation and the New York Evening Post from 1881 to 1924. He was described by a fellow critic in 1887 thusly: “a graduate of Harvard and a student at Berlin and Heidelberg, is a perfect monomaniac on the subject of Wagner, and endeavors to put his readers into the same condition of mind.”
