Philip Hoare

Philip Hoare is the author of ten works of narrative nonfiction, including The Whale, which won the 2009 Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction, and Albert and the Whale: Albrecht Dürer and How Art Imagines the World. He lives in Southampton, England, and on Cape Cod.
