William Sloane

(1906 - 1974)

In addition to being the author of To Walk the Night (1955) and The Edge of Running Water (1939), two novels of cosmic horror, William Sloane worked in publishing. From 1955 until his death in 1974 he served as the director of Rutgers University Press.
