Katsuki Sekida

(1893 - 1987)

Katsuki Sekida, a lay Zen practitioner, taught high school English, lived in Hawaii and London, and in 1977 published a translation of two collections of medieval Zen koans, The Gateless Gate and Blue Cliffs Anthology.
