Witold Rybczynski

Witold Rybczynski is an architect and professor emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design as well as a professor of real estate at the Wharton School. Architecture, he wrote in the New York Times, “is a social art rather than a personal one, a reflection of a society and its values rather than a medium of individual expression.” His most recent book is Now I Sit Me Down, a history of the chair.
