Quintus Curtius Rufus

(c. 41 - c. 79)

Little is known about Quintus Curtius Rufus aside from the fact that he was a first-century Roman. Owing to the paucity of Hellenistic histories, his account of Alexander the Great—History of the Life and Reign of Alexander the Great—remains an important resource even though its veracity in places is highly questionable.
