Piers Paul Read

Piers Paul Read is a British novelist and nonfiction author, best known for his book Alive: The Story of the Andes Survivors, which documents the true story of a group of plane crash survivors in Uruguay. The son of well-known poet and art critic Sir Herbert Read, Piers has written in a wide variety of genres including fiction, reportage, history, biography, and journalism.
