French writer and philosopher Michel Onfray.

Michel Onfray

Having once described himself as a “Nietzschean of the left,” Michel Onfray has published over thirty books, of which Atheist Manifesto is the first to be translated into English. After two decades as a professor of philosophy in the French national education system, he resigned to help establish a tuition-free People’s University, which he funds in part with the proceeds of his books.
