Garrett Epps

Born in Richmond, Virginia, the legal scholar and writer Garrett Epps cofounded an alternative weekly in his hometown before moving on to write and edit at various newspapers, get a law degree from Duke University, clerk for a Fourth Circuit judge, and write two novels and several works of nonfiction. He is professor of practice at the University of Oregon School of Law.
