Sonia Shah

Sonia Shah was born in New York City and studied journalism, philosophy, and neuroscience at Oberlin College. In addition to writing five books, including The Next Great Migration: The Beauty and Terror of Life on the Move and The Fever: How Malaria Has Ruled Humankind for 500,000 Years, she has written for publications including the New York Times and Scientific American.
