Dan Fox and Lynsey Hanley

Dan Fox is a writer living in New York. He is co-editor of frieze and co-founder of the Junior Aspirin Records label. His book Pretentiousness: Why It Matters (2016) was published by Fitzcarraldo Editions in the UK and Coffee House Press in the U.S. Lynsey Hanley writes for the Guardian, The Times Literary Supplement, and the Financial Times. She is the author of Estates: An Intimate History (Granta, 2007) and Respectable: The Experience of Class (Penguin, 2016). She is a visiting research fellow in cultural history at Liverpool John Moores University and an honorary researcher in sociology at Lancaster University.
