David Cecil

A biographer and historian, Lord David Cecil taught pupils including Kingsley Amis, R.K. Sinha, John Bayley, and Ludovic Kennedy at Oxford. His biographical subjects include Jane Austen, Max Beerbohm, William Cowper, and Thomas Hardy.
