Lapham's Quarterly does not accept unsolicited original work, but we invite readers to send interesting, topical, unusual, or enlightening historical documents and articles for use in the Quarterly or online. You may send texts (sadly ignored or carelessly overlooked) from authors on the order of Edward Gibbon, Jacob Burckhardt, or Theodore Roosevelt; alternatively, you also can send lost drafts of the U.S. Constitution, stray Confederate specie, or still-pending Barbary ransom demands to:
